Laredo Pregnancy Center is a local non profit pregnancy center that seeks to support & empower families in our community.
We help women explore their options when facing an unexpected pregnancy. We also support the community by providing programs in relationship education, abortion recovery and parenting skills.
We provide free pregnancy and sexual health-related services, along with information on pregnancy choices. Finding out you are pregnant can be scary. Our caring, knowledgeable staff will listen & equip you with information.
As a nonprofit organization funded by individuals, groups, and churches, all the services and support we offer are free and confidential. We provide care to everyone, regardless of income, residency status, or employment.
No cost. No age restriction. 100% confidential.
What should you expect at our center?
Privacy
When you come to our center you can rest assured that your visit and any information you share with us is completely confidential. We will not share any personal information about you or your visit with anyone outside of our organization.
Respect
At our center, you will be met with a caring environment with a professional staff that respects you and your body. We will not judge you, pressure you, or treat you with anything but our best - every time.
Information and Options
At our center, you will receive accurate and honest information on an array of subjects including pregnancy symptoms, abortion, adoption, parenting, STDs, and sexual health.
We do not offer, recommend or refer for abortions or abortifacients, but are committed to offering accurate information about abortion procedures and risks.
Commitment of Care
- Clients are served without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances.
- Clients are treated with kindness, compassion and in a caring manner.
- Clients always receive honest and open answers.
- Client pregnancy tests are distributed and administered in accordance with all applicable laws.
- Client information is held in strict and absolute confidence. Releases and permissions are obtained appropriately. Client information is only disclosed as required by law and when necessary to protect the client or others against imminent harm.
- Clients receive accurate information about pregnancy, fetal development, lifestyle issues, and related concerns.
- We do not offer, recommend or refer for abortions, abortifacients or contraceptives. We are committed to offering accurate information about related risks and procedures.
- All of our advertising and communication are truthful and honest and accurately describe the services we offer.
- We provide a safe environment by screening all volunteers and staff interacting with clients.
- We are governed by a board of directors and operate in accordance with our articles of incorporation, by-laws, and stated purpose and mission.
- We comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements regarding employment, fundraising, financial management, taxation, and public disclosure, including the filing of all applicable government reports in a timely manner.
- Medical services are provided in accordance with all applicable laws, and in accordance with pertinent medical standards, under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician.
- All of our staff, board members, and volunteers receive appropriate training to uphold these standards.
